This is our favorite pizza to date. It has pesto w/chili-garlic sauce dots as a base, and then I mixed the following in a bowl for the toppings: frozen spinach (thawed) chopped artichoke hearts feta minced onion (I was out of red, so I used yellow. It was fine.) green olives chopped kalamata olives chopped Trappey's jalapenos
I have a BS in ELED/ECE and a Master of Library Science focusing on school libraries. I taught elementary school before taking a "break" to attend graduate school and start a family. Now they are both in school, and I am a K-2 public school librarian in the DFW area.
My husband and I live in a northern Dallas suburb, and we are the parents of two wild, woolly, and wonderful elementary-age boys. We spend lots of time touring local museums, fielding their perceptive questions, preventing them from destroying our home, and limiting their time on Minecraft.

For many years, I really thought that all main dishes started with a Cream of Mushroom Soup base and involved meat - usually ground beef. Finally it dawned on me that there must be more to life!
This is my little way to document my cooking adventures as I work to find healthy, delicious, not-too-complicated meals for my family. All that work and then it's gone in thirty minutes - except for my cyberspace record!
